Is the free model as good as the paid ones?
Wren is our fast standard model. Wren Pro, on Entrepreneur, writes with more structure and can write the chapters in order. With only 375 words of notes, our free sample repeated its main advice in several chapters. More of your own material means fewer repeats on any model.
Do I own a book written on the free plan?
Yes. Under our terms the books you create are yours on every plan. In the US, text an AI wrote isn't protected by copyright on its own, so edit it and add your own writing before you publish. This is not legal advice.
Can I publish it on Amazon?
Yes, once you download the files on a paid plan. Amazon KDP asks you to declare AI-generated text privately when you publish; it doesn't appear on your book page.
What happens to my book if I don't upgrade?
It stays in your account. You can keep reading and editing it, and download it whenever you move to a paid plan.
Can it write fiction?
It isn't built for fiction. There is no story bible or scene planning. Novelists are better served by Sudowrite or Novelcrafter.
