HOW WREN WORKS

Four steps. Five minutes to a first pass.

Wren is the companion from blank page to print. Watch the eight-second arc, ingest, outline, draft, publish, and then read exactly how he does each one.

THE FOUR STEPS

Notes go in. A book comes out.

Four discrete steps, each owned by Wren. You bring the raw material; he handles the architecture, the voice match, the cover math, and the export specs.

01

He starts where you are.

Wren gathers everything you already wrote, LinkedIn posts, Apple Notes, voice memos, podcast transcripts, half-finished chapters. Five minutes of paste-and-go. No file conversion, no formatting cleanup.

I had notes in twelve places. Wren had them in one within a week.

02

He learns how you write.

Wren leaning slightly forward, holding a page of writing samples, hand touching his glasses as he reads carefully

Voice DNA reads sentence rhythm, vocabulary, and the small habits that make your voice yours. 5 to 50 pages of your existing writing is enough. He won't insert filler; he flags gaps for you to fill.

03

He sketches outline, chapters, and cover.

By step three you have a working draft you can reshuffle, rename, and rewrite. The outline is a starting point, not a verdict. The cover auto-sizes to your spine width at 300 DPI.

04

He hands you the files Amazon prints.

THE JOURNEY

Eight seconds. The whole journey.

Watch the four steps play in a single loop. Scattered scraps come together into a chapter grid. Ink draws itself across each chapter card. The grid folds into a finished book and lands on the desk. That's the arc you just read about, compressed into the time it takes to pour a cup of coffee.

FIRST PASS IN MINUTES

I came in skeptical and had a print-ready first pass in minutes. It works exactly like they said.

Questions about the journey

Questions about how Wren works.

  • Voice DNA analysis usually takes 60-90 seconds after you've finished pasting your samples. Wren reads everything you submit before he generates the first chapter.

  • Yes. Every chapter is fully editable in the built-in editor before you export. Wren writes the first draft; you decide what stays in the final book.

  • Reshuffle it, rename chapters, delete sections, add new ones. The outline is the cheapest place to fix structural problems, change it freely before drafting begins.

  • Collaborator access is coming to the Authority plan. Today you can share exported files for review and pull edits back in.

  • Pivot in the editor. Swap chapters, rewrite the angle, regenerate sections in a new direction. Most first-time authors discover their actual book is ~30 degrees off where they started, Wren expects this.

  • Samples are stored privately to build your Voice DNA profile. They're never used to train base models, and you can delete them anytime, your profile is destroyed with them.

  • Built & Written is optimized for non-fiction, business books, coaching books, founder memoirs, expertise-driven books. Fiction works, but you'll find Wren's structure assumptions lean toward argument-driven prose.

  • Yes. PDF, ePub, and DOCX exports are available from the editor at any time. Files belong to you under copyright the moment they're generated.
