Hi, I'm Polina, a writer, book translator, and localization specialist from Ukraine with five years in the industry.

My professional journey started right after university and has taken me across very different projects: translation work for film festivals, coordinating with foreign journalists working in Ukraine, and localization projects of every size. That work taught me to pay attention not only to the words themselves, but to the context behind them.

Most of my career has been spent inside other people's books. I have ghostwritten 150 of them and translated more than 200, so I know every way a manuscript can stall and what it takes to get one finished. Writing in someone else's voice is its own craft, and it is the part of this work I care about most.
